We are always looking for skilled professionals to join our growing team and contribute to innovative technology projects across various industries.

We are looking for a strong Java Developer with Azure experience who will drive the process and contribute towards the production of quality code and products; in a team environment; in accordance with the prescribed architecture, standards and implement as required within the agreed upon timeframes.

Minimum Experience:

  • Five

years Software Development experience in a distributed computing environment using Java

  • Solid (Java) back-end

development experience

  • Containerisation understanding

and experience. (Kubernetes in Openshift)

  • Advanced

understanding and everyday use of OO principles such as inheritance, interfaces, abstract lasses, etc.

  • Good

systems and code design skills including good documentations skills where necessary

  • Working

knowledge of spring framework, architectural and development best practices (e.g. SOA, dependency injection, ORM, EJB3, JPA etc.) as well as J2EE application server environment will be an added advantage

  • Strong

knowledge of CI/CD principles and DevOps practices.

  • Azure

Cloud experience, including development, deployment and support of applications within Microsoft Azure.

  • Experience

with Azure DevOps, including Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines and CI/CD automation.

  • Experience

deploying and managing Java applications and microservices on Azure.

  • Strong

knowledge of REST API design and development.

  • Experience

integrating applications with Azure-based databases, storage and messaging services would be advantageous.

  • GIT Lab

experience

  • Strong

Linux experience advantageous

working in the healthcare industry would be advantageous

Education:

  • Matric as

a minimum qualification

  • A

relevant tertiary qualification as a minimum

  • JAVA: A

relevant Java Certification (Sun certified Java Programmer or Developer) will be an advantage (Java)

  • Microsoft

Azure certification and experience advantageous
