Description
In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple technology projects focused on key operational service towers, including systems, network, storage, virtualization, backup/recovery, productivity, collaboration, identity management, and cyber security. You will drive projects from inception through closure while working directly with internal engineers, external customers, and business stakeholders. Practical use of AI-enabled productivity tools is expected as a standard part of the role to improve planning, communication, analysis, documentation, and delivery efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain project plans using Microsoft Planner and other appropriate project management tools, including the development of project timelines, milestones, tasks, resources, task dependencies, and durations.
- Deliver completed projects on time and within budget with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and communicate project status and establish appropriate governance across both business and IT to manage scope, issues, risks, and change.
- Maintain project financials and project planning data in NetSuite, including project setup, budgets, forecasts, sales orders, milestones, resource and effort planning, time submissions, billing readiness, and project invoice review and approval.
- Lead project meetings, including standup, kickoff, discovery, status calls, sprint planning/reviews and retrospectives.
- Maintain resource calendars for projects and productive activities.
- Respond to stakeholder questions/concerns in a productive, professional, and timely fashion.
- Manage the integration of IT, business and vendor deliverables ensuring equipment, licenses, access, and stakeholder availability.
- Use AI-enabled productivity tools as part of normal project delivery to improve planning, meeting preparation and follow-up, documentation, status reporting, risk and issue analysis, and administrative efficiency, while validating outputs and following organizational security, confidentiality, and data-governance requirements.
Requirements
- At least 5-7 years' experience managing multiple IT projects
- 5+ years working with enterprise technology including computer, storage, networking, security, cloud infrastructure (IaaS), cloud services (M365), and SaaS-based applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Planner and working knowledge of Microsoft Project or other comparable project management tools preferred
- Demonstrated practical experience using generative AI or AI-enabled productivity tools in day-to-day project management workflows, with an understanding of responsible use, output validation, confidentiality, and data security.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be self-motivated, team player, and able to immediately contribute to a fast paced, deadline intensive environment
- Must be able to learn quickly, adapt delivery approaches, and operate effectively in a highly technical, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Windows based applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Good understanding of Microsoft SharePoint, a plus
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related degree or equivalent experience, a plus
- PMP certification current or in progress, preferred; CSM or CAPM certification also a plus
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- Full-Time
- Remote
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional after-hours or weekend support for planned cutovers or migrations
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of being in a stationary position while working on a computer
- Must be able to move and/or lift up to 40 pounds at times
- Must be comfortable operating a computer and/or other office productivity machinery
