Your role in the team
The Architecture Compute, and Engineering (ACE) organization provides a transformative platform ecosystem with a comprehensive set of capabilities that empowers end users and digital product teams to innovate seamlessly and drive growth for Allstate through the Consumer Connected Cloud mission. This ecosystem aims to provide an absolute frictionless experience for our user community.
As a Digital Product Manager on the Network Connectivity team, you will operate at the crossroads of business and technology. You will partner closely with Network Connectivity Engineering and other stakeholders to design innovative solutions, pilot new capabilities, and deliver products that meet evolving business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Vision: Develop, own, and communicate the vision and strategy for Network Connectivity capabilities.
- Market Research: Conduct market and user research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Stay ahead of industry shifts and emerging network communication technologies to uncover opportunities that drive innovation and deliver greater value to our customers.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch new digital products.
- Roadmap Management: Create and continuously maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
- Ongoing Management: Work with the Digital Product team to write & groom stories, prioritize, and manage the backlog.
- Performance Monitoring: Definite product performance metrics & monitor product performance using analytics tools and make data-driven decisions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product progress and updates to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Budget Management: Manage product budgets and resources efficiently.
- Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to continually improve the product.
Essential criteria
- All candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. Allstate is unable to provide sponsorship for this position.
- Proven experience of 4+ years (Lead Consultant level) or 5+ years (Expert level) in digital product management, with ownership of product strategy, roadmap, and delivery outcomes.
- Product management experience within Network Connectivity, Network Infrastructure, Cloud Networking, Telecommunications, or related enterprise technology domains.
- Proven delivery across multiple Agile release cycles, with hands-on use of tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar to manage backlogs, prioritisation, and delivery tracking.
- Experience working with enterprise networking technologies, including evidence of supporting, delivering, or managing products related to LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Remote Office, VPN, SASE, or cloud networking solutions.
- Experience partnering with Network Engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, Server, and Storage teams to define product requirements, influence stakeholders, and deliver technology products using customer, operational, or business performance metrics.
Additional Responsibilities for Expert level Digital Product Manager
- Minimum 2 years' experience owning and executing product strategy independently, including prioritising investments and delivering outcomes across multiple release cycles.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring Product Managers, Product Owners, or cross-functional teams and acting as a recognised subject matter expert within the organisation.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with cloud networking technologies and platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid-cloud environments.
- Experience with modern networking approaches such as SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust, Network Automation, or Network Observability.
- Relevant industry certifications in Product Management, Agile, SAFe, Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), AWS, or Azure.
- Experience working within large-scale, regulated enterprise environments.
- Experience using customer research, market analysis, or technology trends to identify and validate new product opportunities.
