Optimiza is seeking to hire a Project Manager, who is responsible for leading multi projects across different company business units, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, & on budget. This role involves leading the project team, managing resources, & facilitating communication between stakeholders to drive successful project delivery
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Plan, initiate, and manage projects using appropriate methodologies, including defining scope, requirements, timelines, schedules, and deliverables.
- Stakeholder & Team Coordination: Collaborate with business units, technical leads, PLMs, clients, and other stakeholders to align requirements, responsibilities, resources, and project objectives.
- Resource & Requirements Management: Identify and allocate technical resources, tools, software, and personnel based on project needs, while documenting technical requirements and specifications.
- Risk, Issue & Change Management: Identify and monitor project risks and issues, develop mitigation and resolution plans, and assess and manage changes to project scope and requirements.
- Quality & Testing Oversight: Coordinate with QA teams and clients to ensure quality standards are met and testing activities, including UAT, are properly planned and executed.
- Project Governance & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation and records, including status reports, MOMs, delay logs, SRSs, BRDs, and change requests, while ensuring compliance with PMO governance.
- Travel Requirement: The role requires a high level of international travel, with the potential for up to 80% of working time outside Jordan.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, with proven experience in managing projects within the government sector.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) & OUM.
- Experience with Agile Project Mgt. tools such as JIRA
- Advance experience with Agile methodologies, such as: Scrum or Kanban.
- Intermediate to advance MS project experience.
- Intermediate to Advance MS office (PowerPoint, excel, word...etc.) experience.
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Teams, Zoom, Slack..etc..
- Experience with documentation tools such as Slab, Notion.
- Experience in organizing project Repositories using tools such as GitHub, SharePoint, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
