Full description

CTG is seeking a Platform DevOps Engineer to lead enterprise DevOps transformation initiatives by modernizing CI/CD pipelines, standardizing engineering practices, and building scalable developer platforms. This role is ideal for an experienced DevOps professional with expertise in automation, DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure, and developer enablement who is passionate about improving software delivery across engineering organizations.

Duration: 3 months

What You'll Do

  • Assess DevOps maturity using DORA, SPACE, or similar engineering performance frameworks and develop actionable improvement roadmaps.
  • Modernize legacy CI/CD pipelines, delivery tooling, and engineering workflows using industry best practices.
  • Design and maintain reusable pipeline templates, golden paths, and developer self-service toolkits.
  • Standardize CI/CD, source control, release management, infrastructure provisioning, and automated testing practices across engineering teams.
  • Embed DevSecOps, automated quality gates, security scanning, and observability into delivery pipelines.
  • Configure and manage DevOps automation tools across cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Develop automation using Java, Python, and Shell scripting.
  • Partner with Platform Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Engineering leadership to improve software delivery performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise with CI/CD automation, DevOps tooling, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience assessing engineering maturity using DORA, SPACE, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience designing enterprise DevOps platforms, reusable pipelines, and developer enablement solutions.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills using Java, Python, and Shell.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps, automated testing, and observability practices.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and modern software engineering practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading enterprise DevOps transformation initiatives.
  • Experience driving metrics-based continuous improvement programs.
  • Experience collaborating with executive leadership on DevOps governance and engineering strategy.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will also be considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65.00 to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
