Full description
Fortaegis is a fast-scaling, highly ambitious and cutting-edge semiconductor company. We are looking for a strategic, customer-obsessed Product Manager to own the roadmap, positioning, and execution of our product portfolio. You will partner closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to ship products that solve real problems and drive meaningful business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a strong PM first — someone who can lead discovery, write crisp requirements, and ruthlessly prioritise. A background in technical or hardware-adjacent products is a welcome plus, but we care far more about your product instincts, communication skills, and ability to get things shipped.
- 8-10+ years of Hands-on experience managing the full product lifecycle in complex, large-scale environments where uptime, reliability, and performance are non-negotiable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; equally comfortable in a deep technical discussion and a board-level presentation.
- Strong discovery and prioritisation discipline — you know how to say no, and how to explain why.
- Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams in an Agile environment; fluent in the PM toolkit (PRDs, user stories, roadmaps, OKRs).
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to operate with autonomy in a fast-moving environment.
- Data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs and using product analytics to inform decisions.
Nice to Have:We would love it if you also bring one or more of the following — though these are preferences, not barriers to entry:
- Experience with hardware, embedded systems, or hardware-software integrated products (e.g. understanding of development cycles, BOM/supply chain considerations, firmware basics).
- Background in network hardware — NICs, SmartNICs, switches, routers, or network appliances.
- Familiarity with security hardware or infrastructure — firewalls, HSMs, TPMs, or secure enclaves.
- Exposure to data centre, cloud provider, or telco infrastructure environments and buying cycles.
- Knowledge of relevant standards or ecosystems such as OCP, CXL, IEEE, or IETF.
Product Strategy & Roadmap• Define and maintain a clear product roadmap, grounded in customer research, market analysis, and business priorities.
- Translate ambiguous problems into well-defined opportunities and make confident prioritisation decisions with incomplete information.
- Own the product vision for your area and build alignment across stakeholders at all levels.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with engineering, design, and QA to deliver high-quality products on schedule — writing detailed PRDs and maintaining a healthy, well-groomed backlog.
- Serve as the connective tissue between technical teams and go-to-market functions, ensuring everyone is rowing in the same direction.
- Navigate trade-offs between scope, quality, and timeline with confidence and transparency.
Go-to-Market & Customer Engagement
- Lead product launches end-to-end: positioning, messaging, enablement, and success metrics.
- Engage directly with customers, partners, and prospects to validate ideas and gather actionable feedback.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing on pricing, packaging, and competitive positioning.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Define success metrics for every initiative and track product performance rigorously post-launch.
- Use data and customer insights to drive iteration and inform the next phase of the roadmap.
- Identify and mitigate risks early — whether commercial, technical, or operational
The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to participate in shaping the future of our visionary company, contributing to the development of ultra-secure and high-performance SoC designs. They will be part of a dynamic and innovative team, working in a collaborative and challenging environment at the forefront of the semiconductor technology.
