About the role

As the ICT Project Manager you will be responsible for leading the delivery of multiple SWARH ICT projects. Projects and associated initiatives support SWARH service delivery for all health services in the South West Alliance of Rural Health. The role will involve delivery of in-flight projects, development of new projects, analysis activities leading to assessment reporting, recommendation papers, and/or new business cases. You will work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders across SWARH and the health services network to define, scope, cost, quality, schedules, risk and benefits, aligned to the objectives of the project Business Cases. You will also facilitate effective collaboration with external vendors and business stakeholders to deliver ICT projects that align with SWARH and member strategies and are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage bushfire-affected communities and identify opportunities to improve access to mental health support, particularly for vulnerable groups.
  • Plan, coordinate and evaluate community events, education sessions, awareness activities and media promotion.
  • Maintain records and outcome data, support continuous improvement, manage risks and work within Barwon Health policies, standards and legislation.

What we’re looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Systems or equivalent IT experience, with Project Management qualifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.
  • Demonstrated experience managing ICT infrastructure projects, particularly networks, storage and compute.
  • Strong experience managing project dependencies and resources, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to proactively identify technology solutions and improvements that add value to business operations.
