We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support GHG emissions technology evaluation activities. The candidate will contribute to the technical assessment through an AI-assisted drafting of GHG emissions EVALUATE Booklet Reports, including source review and consolidation, engineering analysis, benchmarking, and preparation of clear report sections, under the supervision of a Lead Technologist T&C.

The role will focus on the evaluations of low-carbon and zero-emission solutions including:

·        Carbon Capture

·        Low-Carbon Fuels

·        Energy Efficiency Improvement Technologies

·        Waste and Flare Gas valorization & Abatement Solutions

·        Process Electrification

The candidate will contribute to evaluation and benchmarking of technologies applicable to complex industrial facilities, including:

·        Liquefied Natural Gas Plants

·        Refining, steam Cracking & other Petrochemical Units

·        Deepwater Production Facilities (e.g. FPSOs)

·        Natural Gas Power Plants (e.g. NGCC) and other flexible power generation systems

Main Responsibilities

·        Participate, with the support of the AI Workflow Engineer, in the development and implementation of an AI-assisted drafting methodology for GHG emissions Evaluate Booklet Reports.

·        Review technical literature, vendor documents, publications, press releases, patents, and project references to support technology screening.

·        Assess technology performance, maturity, risks, uncertainties, and relevance for GHG emissions applications using process-engineering judgment.

·        Support screening-level CAPEX/OPEX, efficiency, CO₂ impact, reliability, and operational comparisons.

·        Draft technical sections, conclusions, and recommendations for GHG emissions EVALUATE Booklet Reports, using AI tools where relevant and ensuring technical review and traceability.

 

 

 

Contribution to EVALUATE Booklet Reports and AI-Assisted Drafting

·        Support the Lead Technologist T&C in structuring and drafting EVALUATE booklet reports content, including technology description, benchmark, indicators, risks, strengths, limitations, and open points.

·        Apply the AI-assisted drafting methodology previously developed with the support of the AI Workflow Engineer to accelerate source synthesis, report drafting, wording improvement, and consistency checks, while ensuring that all technical content remains verified, confidential, traceable, and validated.

·        Work with GHG emissions experts, and other contributors to collect, validate, and incorporate inputs into the reports.

Work Experience Profile Required

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent.

·        Around 10 years of process-engineering experience, preferably with comparable industrial environments.

·        Good understanding of industrial facilities such as LNG, refining, petrochemicals, FPSOs, power generation, carbon capture, or low-carbon process units.

·        Experience in techno-economic studies, technology assessment, technical reporting, and AI-assisted writing is desirable; knowledge of Aspen HYSYS or PRO/II is an advantage.

·        Strong process-engineering fundamentals, analytical mindset, and critical thinking.

·        Ability to transform technical information into clear, structured, reader-friendly report sections.

·        Effective and critical use of AI tools for technical writing, synthesis, and consistency checks, with rigor on confidentiality and source traceability.
