As providers of essential infrastructure for the digital economy, Goodman has been developing its data centre capability since 2005. Since then, we have grown to become a large owner of powered sites globally. Our global power bank of 5.0GW includes completed facilities, secured power and potential data centre projects across 13 major international cities. This has been built up over time through our expertise in securing land, planning and power in highly sought after locations in major global cities.
Business Analyst
Goodman is looking for a Business Analyst to join our AU Technology Centre of Excellence in Sydney. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of Finance, Technology and business transformation, helping shape practical solutions that improve how our teams work every day.
In this role, you will partner closely with finance leaders, technology teams and business stakeholders to understand what the business needs, where processes can be improved, and how systems can better support decision-making, efficiency and growth. You will play a hands-on role across finance systems and business application projects, from discovery and requirements through to testing, business readiness, implementation and post-go-live support.
You will also have the opportunity to build broader project delivery experience. Where a dedicated Project Manager is not in place, you will support planning, governance, reporting, vendor coordination and post-implementation review, giving you exposure across the full project lifecycle and the opportunity to take on greater delivery responsibility over time.
What you’ll do
- Act as the link between Finance, Technology and the wider business, translating business needs into practical technology solutions.
- Work with finance leaders and subject matter experts to understand current processes, identify pain points and shape better future-state ways of working.
- Lead the requirements journey from discovery through to sign-off, creating clear documentation that gives business, technical and vendor teams a shared understanding of what needs to be delivered.
- Support solution validation, process mapping, user acceptance testing, defect resolution and business readiness.
- Help ensure change lands well by supporting end-user documentation, training material, communications and adoption activities.
- Coordinate delivery where required, including project planning, status reporting, risk and issue tracking, governance checkpoints and post-implementation review.
- Partner with vendors, technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that are practical, fit for purpose and aligned to business priorities.
What you’ll bring
- 3–5 years’ experience in business analysis, business process transformation or software implementation projects.
- Strong finance or accounting knowledge, gained within property, investment, funds management or a related environment.
- Experience working with finance systems, reporting tools or business applications - Yardi is essential
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience supporting UAT, requirements traceability, business readiness and change communications.
- A practical, structured approach, with the confidence to work across business and technology teams
