Job Summary
We’re looking for a Sales Analyst to support the Amazon Sales team through forecasting, inventory planning, reporting, and business analysis. This role provides the insights and operational support needed to drive business performance, improve in-stock positions, identify risks and opportunities, and support achievement sales and financial objectives.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Identify data and reporting tools necessary to/and perform business, financial and data analysis.
- Develop reporting/analysis for product manager, sales, and/or customers.
- Communicate the results of the business, financial and data analysis.
- Work directly with internal teams (such as Sales, Inventory Management, Finance) to provide intermediate level analysis and reporting as necessary.
- Develop and analyze business scorecards, providing insight into sales, inventory, profitability, and operational performance trends by identifying anomalies, root causes, risks, and opportunities while supporting in-stock and business objectives.
- Organize, plan and recommend analysis and reports consistent with continuous improvement of processes and procedures. Recommend, develop, create and implement standard reporting for routine business reports.
- Monitor for data accuracy (e.g. Walmart systems to align with inventory movement across our warehouses), timeliness and integrity in data used in analysis and reporting. Communicate to appropriate personnel if data inaccuracies exist.
- Ensure follow-up so that analysis and reporting outcomes are reviewed and implemented.
- Partner with Sales, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain teams to develop accurate demand forecasts, monitor inventory health, identify inventory risks and opportunities, and support in-stock objectives.
- Use replenishment and sales data to provide clear, actionable insights. Maintain sales reporting, dashboards, and performance summaries.
- Monitor operational performance metrics, including inventory health, forecast accuracy, shortages, chargebacks, and vendor compliance metrics, providing recommendations to improve business performance.
- Analyze profitability drivers, customer investments, promotional performance, and business risks to provide actionable recommendations that support sales growth and financial objectives.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics or Applied Statistics.
Relevant Work Experience
- 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, retail, omnichannel, or consumer products analytics with responsibility for forecasting, inventory planning, sales reporting, and business performance analysis.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similarly related platforms.
- Experience utilizing retailer reporting platforms and business intelligence tools to analyze sales performance, inventory trends, and growth opportunities. Experience with Amazon Vendor Central, Vendor Retail Analytics (VRA), CommerceIQ, Stackline, or similar eCommerce analytics platforms preferred.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$67,000.00 - $101,000.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
