Our Financial Services EY EDGE practice is made up of a team of professionals providing dedicated tax technical services to both US and global clients. EDGE stands for Exceptional Delivery and Growth Engine because this team operates in a technical environment with deep process and service delivery experience that distinguishes EY in the marketplace.

Your key responsibilities

Join our Tax Technology and Transformation Team as a Senior Analyst in our Project Management Office (PMO), where you will be part of a technology organization that develops and maintains innovative solutions for our client-serving Tax professionals. Depending on client needs and your experience, you may support a variety of projects, including large-scale managed services programs and tax transformation initiatives. Responsibilities may include assisting with efforts to improve operational effectiveness within tax functions, supporting process and controls reviews, evaluating technology solutions that enhance automation and data quality across tax processes, assessing risk and control environments, and contributing to the design and implementation of custom tax applications. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, you will play an important role in helping to deliver impactful projects for our clients.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree) Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Economics and/or a master’s degree in Accounting, Tax Technology, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science or related field
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • You are required to have one of the following certifications: CPA, EA, JD, Master’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, information systems or engineering, Quantitative Economics or Quants
  • Exposure to the financial services industry, accounting/finance/tax, tax or finance performance improvement, tax software development and/or implementation
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and monitoring them until completion, including documenting requirements, configuration, testing, debugging, project profitability, and tax systems and process configuration

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience using MS Project and/or other project management tools
  • Demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude while maintaining the confidential and proprietary nature of client relationships and work products
  • Take ownership of analytical initiatives and exercise sound judgment when making technical and business decisions
  • Work effectively under pressure while adhering to strict deadlines

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $67,000 to $136,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $80,300 to $155,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
  • Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
