Full description
As part of the technical delivery team, you will work on complex real-world systems development and implementation for toll systems. The systems are high throughput, highly available, and responsible for millions of micro-transactions per day. Our systems are the most accurate tolling system in the world.
You will facilitate consistent, efficient, and effective communication between external customers and internal Neology project teams in a remote work environment. The teams you will collaborate with are the development team, quality assurance team, documentation and training team, and delivery management to support all phases of software development and delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert on the tolling industry and on the functionality of Neology systems
- Analyze and track requirements defined in the statement of work / contract items through the life of the project
- Create and own requirements trace matrices out of client contractual requirements
- Update requirements documents with proper versioning throughout the project cycle
- Manage project requirements and traceability of delivery requirements within Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) software tools
- Work directly with external customers and internal team members to negotiate and translate scope of work items into workflow diagrams, system requirements, operational requirements and use cases
- Support the development team in translating business requirements into technical design
- Triage system issues to aid the development team in understanding issues and prioritization
- Reconcile conflicting information, identify potential risks, and accomplish requirements approval through excellent communication, business acumen, and interpersonal skills
- Participate in and document internal and customer kickoff meetings and requirement workshops
- Participate regularly in client activities and support client relationship building
- Facilitate process and technology discussions and action planning across functional groups
- Work to the project plan for all deliverables including daily time tracking to project codes
- Participate in project status meetings to ensure coordination and to raise issues/concerns/risks
- Continually adjust individual priorities as team and project priorities change
- Meet multiple deadlines and respond to multiple requests for support
- Support quality assurance efforts to translate use cases into test cases
- Assist with project quality assurance, quality control, and validation activities, including reporting
- Support the technical writing and training teams in translating system functionality into end-user documentation and training materials.
- Support customer training delivery
- Participate in training and mentoring efforts of project team members in areas of identified expertise

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Information Technology degree or equivalent. Work experience is highly valued.
- Must have excellent analytical and communication skills including asking good questions, listening to the answers, and restating the content accurately, completely, and succinctly both orally and in writing
- Must be able to translate abstract or high-level information into useful/actionable written documentation
- Must be able to work collaboratively and take direction from multiple inputs
- Must be able to accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally
- Ability to manage project deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating or supporting complex and/or large software projects is preferred
- Experience working with external clients is highly valued
- Must be passionate about learning and be a constant learner
- Must be confident, organized, and flexible
- Must have a working knowledge of waterfall, agile and/or hybrid software development methodologies
- Must have very strong skills with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Visio. Pluses include experience with SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Superior English writing and communication skills
