This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager based in Brazil.
This role will lead complex IT infrastructure projects in a large-scale corporate environment, combining strategic planning with hands-on project governance. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams without direct reporting lines and influence technical teams, suppliers, and executive stakeholders. The position covers the full project lifecycle, from planning and procurement through implementation, monitoring, and decommissioning. You will oversee budgets, forecasts, risks, dependencies, resources, and delivery schedules while ensuring alignment with business priorities. Your expertise will contribute to infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and technology transformation initiatives. Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end IT infrastructure projects, managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, changes, governance, and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate and influence multidisciplinary teams without direct reporting authority, ensuring clear responsibilities, priorities, and project outcomes.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost controls, resource allocation, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, dependencies, and governance structures using appropriate project management methodologies and tools.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, technical teams, external suppliers, and executive leadership, providing clear communication and status reporting.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and continuously monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
- Oversee vendor management and procurement activities, ensuring suppliers meet contractual, technical, financial, and delivery expectations.
- Apply knowledge of IT infrastructure components and their lifecycle, including servers, storage, networks, operating systems, enterprise applications, data centers, cloud environments, security tools, and data management.
- Support initiatives involving cloud services, ITSM/ITIL, cybersecurity, AI and machine learning, SDx, and broader technology transformation.
- Guide projects through infrastructure lifecycle stages including planning, acquisition, implementation, asset management, monitoring, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Contribute to project governance and executive decision-making by translating complex technical information into clear business-oriented recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure projects using structured project management methodologies.
- Strong experience leading multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
- Practical experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, risks, changes, resources, governance, communications, and dependencies.
- Demonstrated experience managing technology vendors and supplier relationships.
- Intermediate proficiency with Smartsheet and advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL, AI/Machine Learning, Cloud Services, SDx, and cybersecurity concepts.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, network equipment, operating systems, enterprise applications, data centers, cloud computing, security tools, and data management.
- Understanding of the complete infrastructure lifecycle, from planning and procurement through implementation, asset management, monitoring, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Experience or familiarity with enterprise environments involving Oracle EBS, Salesforce, Rental Man, Vertex, Azure, Citrix, Databricks, and OneID.
- Strong consultative, strategic, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage technical teams, suppliers, and executive leadership.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is desirable.
- Experience working in large corporate environments and on infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, or technology transformation projects is a plus.
- CAPM certification is considered a differentiator; PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, and ITIL certifications are also valued.
