About the Role
This role sits within a newly acquired startup building an AI-enabled, autonomous banking platform for Tier-1 financial institutions within the banking group. As an Analyst Sr Principal, Business Operations, you will provide strategic leadership and analytical expertise to improve business performance, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness. You will partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to evaluate complex business challenges, develop data-driven recommendations, and lead transformational initiatives. This role combines advanced analytics, operational strategy, process optimization, and stakeholder engagement to drive measurable business outcomes. Success is defined by delivering scalable improvements, enhancing decision-making, and supporting sustainable business growth.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead complex business analysis initiatives to identify operational opportunities, risks, and performance improvements.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to support strategic decisions.
- Translate business objectives into actionable plans, measurable outcomes, and operational roadmaps.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to evaluate business performance and recommend process enhancements.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives using data analysis, process mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Conduct scenario modelling, forecasting, and trend analysis to support business planning activities.
- Lead cross-functional projects and transformation efforts with measurable business impact.
- Assess operational risks and implement controls that support governance and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate executive-level presentations and communicate insights to diverse stakeholder groups.
Mentor team members and promote analytical best practices, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading complex business operations, strategy, analytics, or process improvement initiatives.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
- Strong knowledge of business performance management, operational metrics, and reporting methodologies.Experience managing large-scale cross-functional projects and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with data analysis, business intelligence, visualization, and reporting tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of process optimization, operational excellence, and change management practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within financial services, fintech, banking, payments, or technology-driven organizations.
- Advanced knowledge of forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning methodologies.
- Experience with process improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Graduate degree in business, analytics, finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications related to project management, business analysis, data analytics, or process improvement.
