Job Title: Financial Analyst IIIJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Financial Analyst III to join our FP&A team within our company. The position is highly visible and involves budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, month-end close, strategic analysis, and internal finance database maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-potential finance professional who can quickly learn the business and perform at experienced Analyst level, with the possibility of converting to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Contribute to month-end close activities and strategic analysis.
- Maintain and manage internal finance databases.
- Analyze large and complex data sets.
- Communicate financial findings clearly to leadership management
Essential Skills
- Financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exposure to SQL or the ability to learn database tools.
- Experience with finance systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion/HFM, SmartView, CMR, PLN, or similar tools.
- 2–7 years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, corporate finance, or accounting/finance support.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in finance and accounting basics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in life sciences, diagnostics, medical device, biotech, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing is helpful but not required.
- Stable career history with progression at previous companies.
- Eager to learn business, industry, products, internal systems, and databases.
- Adaptable, coachable, self-starting, and potential for promotion.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work EnvironmentThe position is fully onsite in West Hills, CA, operating Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with potential for flexible scheduling. The work environment supports a collaborative and dynamic finance team, offering exposure to large-scale operations within a matrixed corporate structure.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
