Job Summary
We are seeking a Product Compliance & Data Analyst to develop and maintain our product substance compliance database and compliance intelligence systems. This role will be responsible for researching material and component compliance information, collecting documentation from suppliers, reviewing technical specifications, and organizing compliance data into a searchable, scalable system. The ideal candidate combines strong technical research skills with a data-oriented mindset and is comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance Research
- Research material and component compliance requirements and declarations.
- Review supplier documentation, technical datasheets, certificates, and declarations.
- Evaluate compliance with regulations and initiatives including:
- RoHS, REACH, TSCA, Proposition 65, Conflict Minerals, PFAS, Other global substance regulations as required.
- Communicate directly with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain missing compliance information.
Data Management & Systems Development
- Design and maintain databases and information structures for compliance data.
- Develop methods to associate material-level compliance information with assemblies and product families.
- Create searchable systems and reports that enable rapid compliance determination.
- Establish data quality standards and document management processes.
- Maintain traceability between supplier documentation and compliance determinations.
AI & Process Improvement
- Utilize AI tools to assist with document review, data extraction, and compliance research.
- Develop repeatable workflows that improve efficiency and consistency.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies for compliance data management.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Support engineering, purchasing, quality, and sales teams with compliance information.
- Prepare compliance summaries and reports for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with customer compliance inquiries and audits.
Qualifications
Required
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Excel and structured data management.
- Experience using AI tools for research, analysis, or information management.
Preferred
- Experience with RoHS, REACH, TSCA, PFAS, Proposition 65, or similar regulations.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, electronics, industrial products, or regulated industries.
- Database design or data management experience.
- Experience with PLM, ERP, or document management systems.
- Engineering, scientific, technical, or regulatory background
