Provides financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and decision support for assigned business areas, enabling data-driven decision making and business growth. Delivers actionable insights through analysis and partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure strong financial controls and consistent financial processes.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting, forecasts, and annual business plans for assigned business units.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and present findings with clear recommendations to management.
- Provide decision support through profitability, expense, and variance analysis, including business, product, and customer-level insights.
- Partner with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to support the design and implementation of financial processes, controls, and enabling systems.
- Support process improvement initiatives that enhance financial reporting efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Validate and communicate financial results monthly, highlighting risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of financial analyst experience in a medium to large organization.
- Experience in general accounting, manufacturing finance, or audit/compliance is a plus.
- Experience with profitability analysis, budgeting, financial analysis, expense control, and variance reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills; ability to work collaboratively with teams across an organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work with moderate independence while demonstrating initiative and flexibility.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Experience working in the building materials or manufacturing industry.
