Primary Purpose: The Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion, fostering customer and contractor relationships, and more.
Major Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Provide overall project direction for schedule, cost, performance, and resources.
- Determine and record estimates, order entries, and billing/invoicing data in inventory and billing software.
- Oversee scheduling and expediting for open projects.
- Negotiate pricing with various manufacturers.
- Serve as primary contact for technical support and customer service needs.
- Participate in, and contribute to, project progress meetings on a regular basis.
The program manager role is essential to conducting the general business operations of Techline, Inc. and in meeting the needs of its customers. Skillfully exercising independent judgement and discretion is essential to the success of someone in this position.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of one-year project management-based work experience required
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
