Your mission

As a Linux System Administrator within our Research & Development team, you will serve as a foundational pillar for our physical AI and advanced robotics infrastructure. You will work directly with the AI software development team and senior research personnel to plan, commission, maintain, and own a highly complex, specialized environment.

This is an execution-focused role, tailored for someone who is intrinsically motivated by hard technical problems and wants to have true ownership over a cutting-edge technological playground. Your responsibilities span from high-end GPU clusters (on-premises and cloud) to custom laboratory workstations and embedded NVIDIA Jetson platforms operating directly on mobile humanoid robots.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, set up, and maintain clusters, high-end workstations, and embedded systems dedicated to AI research - supporting both long-term heavy training workloads and real-time inference.
  • Build, optimize, and support operating systems for custom hardware. Take deep ownership of low-level configurations, drivers, and server environments tailored for robotics.
  • Actively support the R&D team in the lab with the physical provisioning, wiring, housing, commissioning, and rapid troubleshooting of workstations and physical robots.
  • Propose, research, and drive team decisions regarding network layouts, hardware selection, operating system choices, and service layers.
  • Document architectural learnings and coordinate requirements with our external IT service provider EXT-COM.

Your profile

We seek builders ready to move beyond demos to real-world deployment - professionals who

value precision and reliability as much as innovation and solving challenging tasks at the frontier

of what is possible right now.

  • 5+ years of dedicated professional experience in Linux system administration ideally paired with a degree in Computer Science or an apprenticeship as a Fachinformatiker.
  • Experience with planning site-scale IT infrastructure in an R&D environment.
  • Deep expertise in Linux ecosystems, complex networking, and custom hardware environments.
  • Experience with Machine Learning work loads or with mobile robots, ideally.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Why us?

  • The Technology: Skip the mundane enterprise IT maintenance loops. You will work on massive, end-to-end AI training pipelines, edge computing, and real-time robotics deployment.
  • The Team: Work alongside seasoned industry leaders with a proven track record of scaling breakthrough tech companies and establishing global engineering standards.
  • Solid Strategy & Resources: We avoid early-mover scaling traps by applying disciplined, well-timed capital to proven foundations. Substantially funded internally and backed by top-tier investors, we ensure our R&D teams have zero capital or resource constraints to complete their mission.

About us

We are building a global leader in physical AI, anchored in Europe’s strongest robotics heritage. Founded by entrepreneurs with backgrounds in scaling digital products and advanced robotics, the team is bolstered by senior leadership from top-tier AI research labs and industrial tech companies.

Driven by a mission to create versatile and trustworthy embodied AI for physical labor, We fuse deep engineering mastery in AI and mechatronics with a rapid-execution culture. We are addressing the labor shortage by closing the gap to production-grade deployment. This means building the trusted alternative: robots that are safe, secure, and engineered to automotive standards of scale and durability.

Well-capitalized and operating in semi-stealth, we are now assembling our core team.

Our Locations: We have two main locations: Munich, Germany and Limassol, Cyprus. This pan-European setup represents our core ambition of building a European technology leader, gives us a great talent base and a strong corporate structure.

We are an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all builders.
