We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Flow Control team in Vantaa as part of the Technology organization. In this role, you will drive complex product development projects from idea to market launch, working closely with R&D, product management, sales, testing teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders. You thrive in fast-moving environments where plans evolve, unexpected test results require quick decisions, and strong communication keeps everyone aligned. Your responsibilities
- Lead complex product development projects from concept to market launch, ensuring scope, timelines, resources, and business objectives remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between R&D, Product Management, Sales, Operations, Quality, and external partners to secure successful project execution and timely decision-making.
- Translate commercial commitments and market needs into realistic project plans, balancing business expectations with technical constraints and development priorities.
- Anticipate and manage risks related to technology development, testing, validation, supply chain, product readiness, schedules, and resource availability, ensuring that issues are identified and addressed early.
- Lead stakeholder communication across all organizational levels, influencing without direct authority and ensuring transparency around progress, risks, decisions, and required actions.
- Drive problem-solving when unexpected challenges arise during product development and testing, ensuring projects keep moving forward while maintaining quality and delivery objectives.
Expectations for you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field. Engineering background is considered an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex product development, R&D, engineering, or industrial projects in a matrix organization. Experience in industrial equipment, engineered products, product development, flow control, or other complex technology environments is considered a strong advantage
- Strong track record of managing multiple stakeholders, influencing decision-making, and negotiating priorities across functions and organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain structure, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in environments characterized by uncertainty, changing requirements, and demanding timelines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build credibility and trust with both technical experts and business stakeholders.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; Finnish or other languages considered as an advantage.
- International travelling occasionally may be required based on the project needs
