About the role:
Representing the consumer, supporting the development of competitive, relevant, and differentiated value propositions in Traditional Floor Care. Managing cross-functional collaboration to identify and address portfolio gaps, price partition opportunities, and emerging consumer needs. Reporting into the Traditional Floor Care Product Director on a day-to-day basis, this role ensures that innovation projects align with strategic objectives and value propositions are grounded in strong consumer, market, and competitor understanding.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the development of product category strategy by analyzing consumer insights, market dynamics, and competitors
- Defining the portfolio gaps, assessing the size of the opportunities, and feeding the innovation roadmap
- Teaming up with Product Project Managers for product development projects and representing the consumer throughout the project development process
- Developing consumer-centric, differentiating, and compelling value propositions
- Creating and owning the project business case to evaluate revenue, profitability, and ROI
- Briefing marketing and design teams on required assets and communication materials to ensure consistent, consumer-centric representation across all touchpoints
- Making post-launch analyses to sharpen the competitiveness of the product portfolio
- Monitoring the market performance of the category and optimizing the product range mix
Managing lifecycle activities including improvements, extensions, animations, and planning end-of-life
KPI’s
- Ensuring Successful Launch of New Products/Innovations: On-time, on-cost, on-quality
- Driving Growth Opportunities: Sales & Profitability increase
- Innovation Thought Leadership: Prepare short-term and long-term roadmap & execute
- Quality/Consumer Satisfaction: Percentage of deliverables meeting standards, Ratings & Reviews
- Collaborate Effectively: Team up with R&D, design, marketing, and country teams to deliver innovation
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- 3–5 years in product management
- Proven experience managing projects, budgets, timelines, and risks
- Bachelor's in engineering and preferably a master's in business or engineering background with business experinece
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
- Strong communicator, capable of working and influencing cross-functional teams
- Experience or strong affinity with technology-intensive or complex innovation programs is a plus, reflecting the increased ambition level of future projects
- Affinity with food, cooking, and consumer food preparation trends is highly desirable. Exposure to different culinary traditions and an understanding of how cooking habits, preferences, and meal preparation vary across cultures would be a strong advantage.
