If you are a Systems Engineering Leader professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role offers the opportunity to lead systems engineering activities for Transfer, On/Off (TOV) and C-Ball valve product lines throughout the product lifecycle. Based in Lugagnano Val d'Arda, Italy, you will drive innovation and technical excellence across New Product Development (NPD), New Technology Development (NTD), configuration management, sustaining engineering, and customer-focused projects. Working closely with global, cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality solutions that meet customer needs and support long-term business growth.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Provide technical leadership for programs and projects, serving as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders.
- Translate customer, market, and business needs into system requirements, architectures, and structured engineering plans.
- Lead model-based systems engineering activities, including concept development, architecture evaluation, and solution selection aligned with product strategy.
- Coordinate and guide cross-functional engineering teams to achieve project objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
- Oversee systems architecture, interface management, requirements allocation, verification, and validation activities across all phases of product development.
- Ensure compliance with engineering processes, technical review requirements, applicable standards, and regulatory expectations.
- Communicate project status, technical decisions, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, procurement teams, and internal partners to evaluate technical solutions and support business objectives.
- Drive effective problem-solving through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support manufacturing, quality, testing, audits, technical workshops, and product documentation activities as needed.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning across engineering teams.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Energy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Significant experience in systems engineering, project engineering, mechanical design, product development, or related technical leadership roles.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed or global engineering teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across multiple functions and regions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including experience applying structured methodologies such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis, or similar approaches.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, global engineering environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with engineering and productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Power BI, or similar applications.
- Professional proficiency in English and Italian.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience with industrial valve technologies, including TOV and C-Ball valves.
- Knowledge of valve industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
- Familiarity with Lean principles, continuous improvement practices, and design-for-manufacturing concepts.
- Experience supporting testing, verification, and validation activities.
- Working knowledge of French, written and spoken.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is 49.400 to 91.800 EUR annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
