Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Engineer with strong expertise in Windows infrastructure and AWS cloud environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing enterprise infrastructure, troubleshooting complex technical issues, implementing cloud solutions, and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of production environments.

The role requires a strong combination of Windows Server administration, AWS infrastructure, networking, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting skills, along with the ability to work closely with engineering and customer-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, manage, and support Windows-based infrastructure across on-premises and AWS environments.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, and related services.
  • Design and manage AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, Route 53, Load Balancers, and Auto Scaling.
  • Perform infrastructure troubleshooting across OS, networking, application, database, and cloud layers.
  • Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity across infrastructure environments.
  • Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
  • Manage security controls including IAM, security groups, network ACLs, patching, endpoint security, and access management.
  • Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, AWS CLI, or similar scripting tools.
  • Support infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
  • Identify recurring infrastructure issues and drive root cause analysis (RCA) and permanent remediation.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Application, Security, and Engineering teams to support deployments and infrastructure changes.
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in on-call/rotational support when required.

Requirements

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Windows troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Windows patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and system hardening.
  • Understanding of PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Good understanding of EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, Route 53, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling, and related AWS services.
  • Experience designing and troubleshooting AWS networking, including subnets, routing, security groups, NAT/Internet Gateways, and VPN.
  • Understanding of AWS security, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across OS, network, application, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation is preferred.
  • Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices is an advantage.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, SolarWinds, Datadog, Splunk, or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, firewalls, load balancing, and networking concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS certification such as AWS Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional or SysOps Administrator.
  • Microsoft certification such as Azure Administrator, Windows Server, or related Microsoft certification.
  • Experience working in SaaS, cloud, managed services, or enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • Experience supporting production-critical environments and customer-facing technical issues.
