Java Developer

As a Java Developer, you will design, develop, and deliver enterprise‑grade applications within a full stack environment. You will play a key role in building scalable applications, supporting cloud deployments, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring high‑quality software delivery.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high‑performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.

• Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using React.js or Angular.

• Develop, test, and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Implement cloud‑native solutions and support deployments on AWS and OpenShift platforms.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps engineers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while ensuring application reliability and performance.

• Follow coding standards, security best practices, and participate in peer code reviews.

DevOps & Cloud Enablement

• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.

• Implement and maintain containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Contribute to batch processing and scheduling solutions using Spring Batch and Autosys.

• Create technical documentation and maintain development standards.

Experience

• You have 6–8 years of hands‑on software development experience.

• You have proven expertise in Java Full Stack Development.

• You have experience building and deploying microservices‑based applications.

• You have hands‑on experience with AWS and OpenShift environments.

Technical Expertise

• You have strong backend expertise in Java 11/17+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Microservices, RESTful Web Services, and JPA/Hibernate.

• You have frontend expertise in React.js or Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• You have cloud and platform expertise in AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda) and OpenShift, with cloud‑native application development experience.

• You have DevOps and CI/CD expertise with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git version control.

• You have database expertise in Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL.

• You have preferred skills in Spring Batch, Autosys, and monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, or Grafana.

Required Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• You have strong understanding of software design principles, object‑oriented programming, and design patterns.

• You have excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills.

• You have strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• You have experience in large‑scale enterprise application development.

• You have AWS or Red Hat OpenShift certifications.

• You have exposure to Spring Batch and enterprise scheduling tools like Autosys.

• You have experience in BFSI, Retail, Telecom, or Digital Transformation projects.
