About the role

We are looking for a Data & AI Scientist to join our Collections team and help ensure that our AI-powered conversational channels deliver a reliable, effective, and safe experience for our customers. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow at the intersection of data, generative AI, analytics, and operations.

What you can expect:

• Participate in the full improvement cycle of an AI-powered system: research, hypothesis definition, experimentation, validation, launch, and monitoring.

• Apply text analytics, NLP, sampling, and conversational analysis techniques to real customer interactions.

• Work on prompt engineering, language model evaluation, RAG systems, and A/B experimentation.

• Build and maintain automated tests for conversational agents, including LLM-as-a-judge evaluations and prompt-change validation.

• Continuously monitor performance, quality, and stability metrics across conversational channels.

What we are looking for:

Must-have:

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Physics, Economics, or a related field.

• 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, QA, automation, AI, operations, or related fields.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Genuine interest in generative AI, language models, prompt engineering, and conversational products.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow validation processes in a structured and consistent manner.

• Ability to investigate issues, reproduce errors, and clearly document findings.

• Analytical thinking to identify patterns and turn observations into recommendations.

• Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain technical results to non-technical audiences.

• Professional conversational English proficiency.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with automated testing tools or evaluation frameworks for LLM-based applications.

• Knowledge of APIs, Git, notebooks, or data visualization tools.

• Experience with text analytics, NLP, classification, language models, or conversation analysis.

• Familiarity with experimental design and experiment analysis.
