Department Overview
The Infrastructure System Test Tools team (ISTT) within Motorola Solutions is responsible for development of simulators of public safety communication system components. The simulators are used by product teams to execute functional and performance system level tests and tests automation. Job Description
In software engineer role you will be responsible for End To End software lifecycle process, including:
- design, develop, test and maintain software within ISTT portfolio
- cooperation with external teams to integrate our solutions with test environments
- providing support to external teams using our solutions
- as a role expansion: requirements analysis, scope definition
Basic Requirements
- technology: Java as a core technology, but also HTML / CSS / Angular
- knowledge of designing realtime multithreaded and distributed systems
- knowledge of IP networks (devices, protocols)
- written and verbal communication in English
Nice to have
- experience in working with AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot)
- Docker / Kubernetes (configuration, deployment) knowledge
- cloud environments knowledge (Azure, AWS)
- Jenkins

- experience in working with SCRUM practices
