1st shift QEA

Reports to: QA Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with internal and external customers
  • Generate reports and graphs, related to suppliers, budget, and inventory
  • Verifies accuracy of all documentation
  • Monitors for compliance IATF 16949 and ISO 14000 policies and procedures
  • Assists Quality Engineers with Inspection standard Part Submission Warrant (PSW) , PSW maintenance, new programs business and program corrective action
  • Maintains the Quality Engineer (QE) Part Submission Warrant (PSW) standards manuals and files
  • Assists with all travel related arrangements for the Q.A. department personnel
  • Assist with Production Preparation Approval Process (PPAP) and launches of new program
  • Authorities for an employee are granted by means of work instructions, policies and procedures and/or direction provided by management to meet the requirements of the customer

Education and Experience:

  • High School Graduate or GED or Higher
  • Experience in a Business Administration Environment

Skills:

  • Ability to work independently in absence of supervision
  • Ability to operate computer related software (Microsoft Office 365) and office machines

Other:

  • Ability to work any shift
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends with limited notice

Physical Demands & Working Conditions: The employee is occasionally required to sit; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee frequently is required to stand or walk for periods of time; use hands to handle feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/ or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 40 pounds. The employee also be required to work in hot temperatures.

Environmental Conditions: This job operates primarily in a manufacturing environment, where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The noise level is within OSHA standards.
