JAVA DEVELOPER

As a Java Developer at Zensar Technologies Limited, you will be responsible for building high‑performance, enterprise‑grade applications that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment, leveraging Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and cloud platforms to deliver robust, scalable solutions. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement, code quality, and innovative product development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust Java‑based solutions using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with backend systems and databases.
• Write clean, testable code and create unit/integration tests.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and DevOps for continuous delivery.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews and adherence to standards.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Maintain documentation of designs, APIs, and deployment processes.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
• Hands‑on experience building microservices and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
