WHO WE NEED:

The Technical Product Manager role involves managing product roadmaps, prioritizing development projects within the product backlog, and engaging with stakeholders. The position requires a blend of business acumen, customer empathy, and servant-leader mindset to guide software development. The role also focuses on fostering transparency and communication around product development and delivery timelines.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years relevant work experience (IAM, role-based permissions, working with technical teams, and prototyping new products).
  • Demonstrates moderate product ownership skills.
  • Possesses or demonstrates ability to acquire in-depth knowledge and understanding of assigned products.
  • Ability to manage the full process of creating Epics, negotiating requirements, providing context, and leading the scoping of Stories, making independent decisions to drive the backlog.
  • Ability to foster alignment among a broader range of stakeholders including Professional Services and current customers.
  • Ability to handle projects involving multiple internal teams (eg, 3-5 teams) and some external stakeholders (e.g., key customers).
  • Ability to understand and communicate the near-term product vision (e.g., next 3-6 months), addressing risks associated with business, technology, or product architecture.
  • Ability to address risks during planning for upcoming stories.
  • Ability to operate with less oversight, acting as a partner with the Product Manager rather than solely executing on instructions.
  • Ability to manage projects with weekly check-ins and provide status updates.
  • Ability to share best practices.
  • Ability to work in close partnership with the Product Manager, collaborate with multiple internal teams (development, design, product marketing), and engage withkey external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in: project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana), design collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch), basic analytics platforms (Pendo, PowerBI), documentation tools (Google Suite, Confluence)
  • Proficiency in: using AI to improve productivity and decision quality by refining prompts, synthesizing information, identifying risks or gaps, and integrating AIoutputs into standard workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce
  • Experience with B2B and SaaS software
  • Experience in Agile Product Managements

Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the PM to build an understanding of how your product fits into the portfolio.
  • Help shape the future of development projects (Epics) based on specific customer needs.
  • Own the articulation of the near-term product and portfolio vision to internal stakeholders in a way that excites them for the future of the product and themselves.
  • Own the processes for creating, prioritizing, and refining development projects (Epics) into Stories that execute the product roadmap.
  • Work with stakeholders to further understand and negotiate requirements.
  • Be the leader of providing user, business, and strategic context to the development team.
  • Foster stakeholder alignment and transparency in a way that ensures agreement on the current status of stakeholder needs. Primary stakeholders will be Support, development, Professional Services, current customers, and PMs.
