Join our Tech Hub team as a Product Specialist Manager and help Australian businesses create value and improve how they work. You’ll bridge business needs and technical solutions to deliver products that meet real customer needs, protect against risk, and turn data into insight—empowering teams and driving sustainable growth.

Why PwC?

At PwC Australia, your skills meet purpose. We tackle big challenges across industries like finance, technology, energy, and health — giving you the chance to make a real impact. Here, your growth is our priority. You’ll work with leading teams, explore new technologies, and unlock your full potential.

Join a global community of more than 370,000 people who value bold ideas, collaboration, and lasting change. Together, we’re building trust and shaping the future.

What you’ll do:

  • Translate business and risk requirements into technical control designs and implementations.
  • Design and test technical configurations, including DLP policies, GPO settings and related security controls.
  • Work with NIS and platform owners to implement required changes across technologies such as Forcepoint, firewalls and other data protection tooling.
  • Analyse logs and telemetry to validate control effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop supporting technical documentation, operational procedures and control designs.
  • Ensure product health end-to-end—serve as the expert lead for a specific product, monitor performance, manage issues and risks under governance, and coordinate resolution with global teams and vendors.
  • Use research and analysis to inform decisions—manage product research, produce clear documentation, and contribute across the full product lifecycle.

What we’re looking for:

  • Deep product and technical expertise with excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills; able to advise stakeholders and directly contribute to solutions.
  • Proven team leadership—experience as a first-line operational leader, mentoring and upskilling junior staff, setting annual priorities, and delivering results across teams.
  • Customer- and collaboration-focused—strong grounding in customer support best practices; effective partner to Product Managers, Sales, Support, and global/vendor teams; curious, values-driven, and constructively challenges the status quo.
  • A proactive problem solver—strong judgment to tackle complex work, experience leading medium-scale projects, meticulous attention to detail, and a risk-aware approach.

  • Work within an inclusive environment committed to Inclusion and Diversity and First Nations Prosperity, ensuring diverse perspectives are at the forefront of our work.
  • Flexibility means trusting you to choose when, where, and how you work balancing what’s best for you, your team, and your clients to grow and thrive together.
  • Clear paths for career progression supported by continuous learning and leadership development.
  • Generous leave entitlements to support your work-life balance - including floating public holidays, birthday leave and ability to purchase additional leave on top of your four weeks.
  • A world-class parental leave policy offering up to 26 weeks of leave for caregivers, supporting your family and personal life.
