TMI Systems Corporation is world-class manufacturer in Dickinson, ND, we make custom cabinetry, countertops, and architectural millwork. TMI's products are installed in education and healthcare facilities throughout the nation.
We are seeking a Project Manager in our Specialty Contracting Division in or around the Billings, MT area.
Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for establishing point-of contact communication with owners, construction managers, general contractors, architects, and installers. Consult with sales staff on projects in the bid process, attend meetings to evaluate and coordinate project scope and responsibilities, coordinate field dimensions and release-for-fabrication information, oversee customer billing, collections, and project closeout requirements. Provide assistance in design development as needed. Maintain accurate phasing schedules in software applications, maintain accurate record of post-order pricings in software applications, and maintain an accurate and complete job file. Review customer and supplier drawings, including quality checks, revise and resubmits, approvals with colors, material releases, and fabrication releases. Coordinate and process appropriate actions from reviews, respond to customer requests for samples, mock-ups, and shortage/breakage items, and research quality issues and resolve as appropriate with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors. Learn and keep current on internal engineering standards and industry standards. Assist with coordinating and communicating product deliveries to project sites, and assist customers with close-out and warranty documents as needed. Coordinates installation schedules. Travel is required.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in related field to Business Administration, Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering, or Technical Trade Areas
Work Experience
4 years of Experience of Commercial Construction Project Management
