Full description

At CRG Solutions Costa Rica, we are looking for a Network Technician to support and maintain our customers’ network infrastructure, ensuring reliable performance, availability, and continuity of service.

The Network Technician will proactively monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and support networking environments for one or more customers, while providing timely technical assistance and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Employment Type: Temporary contract through December 30, 2026, with the possibility of renewal for one additional year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support customer network environments to ensure availability, performance, and service continuity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents related to hardware, software, connectivity, LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
  • Use established escalation procedures to ensure incidents and service requests are addressed efficiently.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain networking equipment and related infrastructure.
  • Perform scheduled customer visits for installations, equipment changes, maintenance, and technical support.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and coordinate repairs or escalations when required.
  • Support Cisco and Meraki LAN and wireless environments.
  • Assist with routing and connectivity troubleshooting involving protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
  • Provide guidance to users regarding the proper use, operation, and maintenance of installed equipment.
  • Interpret network diagrams, technical documentation, and infrastructure layouts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, technical activities, incidents, and customer approvals.
  • Identify required materials, spare parts, tools, and resources necessary to complete technical activities.
  • Provide customers with technical guidance regarding networking technologies and new requirements within the scope of the role.
  • Escalate specialized or complex requests to the appropriate certified or technical resources within the organization.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of customer procedures and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification – required.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in networking or network support.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Cisco LAN, WAN, and Wireless technologies.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki LAN and Wireless solutions.
  • Knowledge of routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling and network infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers.
  • Strong documentation and process-development skills.
  • Proactive, responsible, and service-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting Data Center environments.
  • Experience working directly with customers in technical support or managed services environments.
  • Additional Cisco or networking certifications are considered a plus.
