About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Security Specialist to design, implement, and maintain Salesforce security, access controls, data protection, and compliance solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Salesforce security architecture and experience protecting sensitive enterprise data.

Location: Remote.

  • The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, one of the states supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA. No relocation assistance provided.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Salesforce security and access control strategies.
  • Configure profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and security policies.
  • Manage user access, authentication, authorization, and identity integrations.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce security models for applications and data.
  • Monitor security controls and identify potential vulnerabilities or access issues.
  • Support data protection, encryption, and secure data management practices.
  • Conduct security reviews and assessments of Salesforce configurations and solutions.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Developers, and Administrators to implement secure solutions.
  • Support security testing, audits, compliance activities, and remediation efforts.
  • Document security configurations, standards, procedures, and controls.
  • Stay current with Salesforce security features, best practices, and platform updates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce security or enterprise application security.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce security architecture and access controls.
  • Experience with profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, groups, and organization-wide defaults.
  • Experience with Salesforce authentication and identity solutions, including SSO, SAML, OAuth, and MFA.
  • Understanding of data encryption, security monitoring, and secure integration practices.
  • Experience conducting security assessments and resolving security findings.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy and security principles.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Identity and Access Management Architect or Sharing and Visibility Architect certification.
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
  • Experience with Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, Platform Encryption, and Field Audit Trail.
  • Experience with identity providers and enterprise IAM platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and AWS or Azure environments.
  • Experience with security frameworks, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
  • Experience in DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
  • Experience securing complex enterprise Salesforce environments.
