This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Architect based in Brazil.
This role focuses on shaping and delivering technology solutions that align business needs with enterprise architecture principles. You will collaborate with Agile teams, domain leaders, enterprise architects, and subject matter experts to design solutions for strategic initiatives. The position involves developing and refining conceptual, logical, and physical architecture across current and future technology environments. You will assess technical options, explain trade-offs, and help stakeholders make informed architecture decisions. The role also contributes to architecture standards, governance, technology research, and the resolution of complex domain-specific challenges. By connecting business capabilities with modern technology solutions, you will support secure, scalable, and effective outcomes across a financial services environment.

Accountabilities:
- Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of technology solutions in collaboration with assigned Agile teams.
- Work with domain leadership and enterprise architects to understand business drivers, business capabilities, and current and future-state requirements.
- Translate business needs and capabilities into effective solution architecture designs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to assess solution options, explain technical trade-offs, and articulate potential value.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture standards.
- Evaluate the quality, compliance, and alignment of delivered solutions against established architecture standards and principles.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with stakeholders throughout initiative planning and delivery.
- Create, enhance, and refine conceptual, logical, and physical solution architecture for strategic technology initiatives.
- Research emerging technologies, industry trends, and potential impacts on existing and future solutions within assigned domains.
- Participate in architecture governance activities and support appropriate decision-making processes.
- Help evaluate and resolve domain-specific architecture issues in partnership with relevant subject matter experts.
- Support other enterprise and solution architects in designing and managing architecture for dependent products and systems.
- Leverage existing technology resources and collaborate across teams to strengthen solution design and delivery efforts.
- Identify risks related to technology initiatives and escalate relevant issues to appropriate management.
- Follow applicable risk, regulatory, compliance, and internal control standards.
- Support the timely resolution of internal and external audit findings and issues raised by regulators, where applicable.
- Promote an inclusive and collaborative working environment.
- Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, or a combination of at least 9 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience working with multiple programming languages.
- Professional experience in software engineering, service engineering, or technology delivery.
- Experience developing and integrating applications using software architecture principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Strong research skills and the ability to identify and apply modern technology trends to business and technology initiatives.
- Ability to evaluate multiple technical approaches and clearly explain potential solutions, benefits, risks, and trade-offs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex architecture challenges objectively.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative environments.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments is preferred.
- Experience in two or more technical roles related to banking technology design is preferred.
- Experience delivering technology or enterprise-level presentations is preferred.
- Graduate degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
- Industry-recognized certifications in programming languages or cloud technologies are preferred.
- Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
