Your Role

This role is responsible for performing quality assurance testing across Unifin's internal software systems. The position will primarily execute manual testing efforts, create and maintain testing documentation, identify and validate software defects, and work directly with development teams to ensure high-quality releases. Experience with Playwright or other test automation frameworks is highly desirable but not required for the role.

About You

For you to become a successful candidate for this role:

  • Quality Assurance (Primary Responsibility)• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, regression suites, and testing documentation
  • Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, reproduce, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Work directly with developers to troubleshoot issues, clarify expected behavior, and validate fixes
  • Participate in requirements and release discussions and provide QA feedback on testability, risks, and readiness
  • Test Automation (Preferred)• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or comparable frameworks.
  • Identify repetitive, high-value, and regression-prone scenarios that are appropriate for automation.
  • Maintain reliable automated test suites and investigate test failures in collaboration with developers.
  • Automation experience is a preferred qualification rather than a minimum requirement; candidates with strong manual QA fundamentals and limited automation experience may be considered at the Junior or Mid-Level range.
  • Documentation & Process Improvement• Maintain clear and accurate test cases, test results, defect records, release validation documentation, and QA artifacts.
  • Help improve QA processes, testing standards, regression coverage, and defect-prevention practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing workflows, tools, and documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Practical experience in software quality assurance or software testing with strong fundamentals in manual testing.
  • Understanding of software development and QA life cycles, defect management, test cases, and regression testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with developers, QA team members, and business stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple testing activities and priorities
