JOB PURPOSE

• Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a Project Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Planning & Definition: Define project scope, goals, requirements, timelines, and budgets, reviewing construction documents and technical specs.
• Execution & Oversight: Lead cross-functional teams (IT, facilities, vendors), manage daily activities, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to procedures, safety, and compliance.
• Budget & Resource Management: Track expenditures, manage costs, procure resources, and handle vendor contracts and procurement processes.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential issues, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve project roadblocks.
• Communication & Reporting: Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, management, and clients; act as a key point of contact.
• Quality & Closure: Oversee system testing, punch lists, final inspections, and organize project close-out documentation. 

QUALIFICATION

• Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field; certifications like PMP are required. 

EXPERIENCE

• 15+ years hands‑on IT infrastructure & project delivery experience
• Strong background in servers, networks, storage, virtualization, cloud
• Demonstrated success leading medium to large infrastructure programs
• Experience managing budgets, risks, and multi-team coordination
• Strong communication, leadership, and vendor management experience
• Certification like PMP is required

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of relevant systems (networks, hardware, software, mechanical/electrical systems).
• Project Management: Proficiency in planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and using PM tools.
• Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate technical staff and teams.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for diverse audiences.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to collaborate with internal teams, senior management, and external partners.
