Your role

We are looking for experienced Data Engineers to join a strategic Data & AI initiative supporting a leading international legal organization. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of advanced AI-powered products, delivering scalable data solutions for business-critical use cases.

Your tasks

  • Design, build and maintain data pipelines and data integration solutions.
  • Support existing AI products focused on contract analysis, risk factor identification and legal document intelligence.
  • Develop and optimize data models and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Work with structured and unstructured datasets to enable AI and analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability and performance of enterprise data platforms.
  • Support new Data & AI initiatives and evolving business requirements.

Your profile

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills.
  • Knowledge of Databricks and related AI technologies.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure Databricks specifically.
  • Experience of DevOps / DevSecOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark or similar big data technologies.
  • Able to set up and maintain data pipelines and metadata pipelines.
  • Experience obtaining data from source systems (e.g. Workday), including cleansing and ingesting that data.
  • End-to-end experience of data ingestion, data lake and data reporting.
  • Experience designing scalable data architectures and pipelines.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Must be based in, and available to work on-site full-time from, Gdańsk or Wrocław.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Fivetran and other ETL tools (highly desirable).
  • Experience supporting AI/ML solutions.
  • Knowledge of legal, financial or professional services environments.
  • Azure certifications.
