This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager - RWA based in the United States.
This role will lead critical Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) initiatives and regulatory capital projects within a banking environment.You will oversee complex, cross-functional programs spanning Risk, Finance, Treasury, and Regulatory Reporting.The position will play a key role in supporting Basel III/IV implementation and regulatory remediation efforts.You will drive project execution across data, processes, technology, and capital reporting capabilities.Success will require strong project governance, proactive risk management, and effective stakeholder communication.You will also prepare executive-level reporting and help ensure strategic initiatives remain aligned with regulatory expectations.This is a fully remote opportunity with significant visibility across key banking functions.

Accountabilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) initiatives and regulatory capital projects, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and objectives are achieved.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Risk, Finance, Treasury, and Regulatory Reporting to maintain alignment and drive timely execution.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.
- Support Basel III/IV implementation programs, RWA optimization initiatives, and regulatory remediation activities.
- Drive data, process, and technology enhancements supporting capital management, risk reporting, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and develop mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track.
- Prepare executive-level status reports, governance materials, project updates, and other communications for senior stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration across business and functional teams to resolve issues and maintain alignment with regulatory and organizational priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant project management experience within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory reporting, risk management, capital planning, and related banking processes.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business and technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Risk-Weighted Assets, regulatory capital programs, and Basel III/IV implementation or remediation initiatives.
- Strong project planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and dependencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex project information clearly to executive-level stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining effective collaboration across distributed teams.
- Must reside within the continental United States.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future; employment eligibility verification will be required at hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
