QA Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Specialist to support our Quality Department by inspecting incoming materials, purchased parts, labels, and other products to ensure they meet company, supplier, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming inspections on materials, parts, labels, and other products.
  • Identify defects, damage, quantity discrepancies, and other quality issues.
  • Verify dimensions and specifications using measuring tools and approved documentation.
  • Document inspection results, rejected materials, and quality concerns.
  • Support investigations, corrective actions, and customer or internal quality requests.
  • Work with Quality, Production, Receiving, Engineering, Purchasing, and Customer Service to resolve issues.

1st Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am – 3:30pm, Friday 6am – 2:30pm

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; experience in quality, manufacturing, printing, or inspection preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Oracle.
  • Ability to use rulers, calipers, gauges, barcode readers, and similar inspection tools.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision.
