You will produce static and animated creative for paid social, organic social, and print media while collaborating with the marketing team to ensure message consistency. The role involves managing high-volume design tasks, iterating based on performance data, and maintaining brand assets.
What they look for
Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in paid social, motion graphics, and print production. Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and After Effects is required, along with an analytical approach to performance-driven design.
Full description
Releaf is the UK's leading medical cannabis clinic. A certified B Corp, with over 170 staff, we connect patients with specialist clinicians, streamline access to prescriptions, and support thousands of people across the UK. We're on a mission to rethink healthcare - making specialist medical care more accessible, more human, and more effective.
The role
You will report into our Head of Performance Marketing and work across the whole marketing team — performance, social and brand. This is a hands-on design role for someone equally confident in static and video, and equally comfortable producing a scroll-stopping paid social ad as in print media.
You will be briefed from multiple directions and will need to work at volume without losing craft. The best person for this job understands that a great ad is not just one that looks good, it is one that stops the scroll, earns the click, and converts — and that the same discipline applies to a poster someone walks past.
Main responsibilities
- Produce static and animated creative for paid social, built to perform and iterate on quickly
- Design organic social content across formats — feed, stories, reels, short-form video edits
- Design out-of-home and print
- Work with our CRO Designer to brief and align on landing page creative, ensuring message match from ad to page
- Edit and produce short-form video, from UGC assembly through to fully motion-designed pieces
- Collaborate with the Social Lead on UGC creative direction, ensuring briefs produce content that performs
- Build and maintain templates, component libraries and brand assets so the team can move faster
- Keep output consistent with brand guidelines while adapting to the demands of each channel
- Iterate quickly based on performance feedback, and stay current on platform formats and what is actually working
What we're looking for
- A portfolio showing range: paid social creative that ran, plus brand and print or OOH work
- Proven animation and video capability — motion graphics, short-form editing, sound and subtitling for social
- Strong static craft: typography, layout, hierarchy, and an eye for detail that holds up at billboard scale
- Print production knowledge: bleed, CMYK, resolution, artwork specs, and designing for viewing distance
- An instinct for performance - you understand why a hook works, not just how to execute one
- A scientific approach to performance data, where the data informs your next creative decision, not just your weekly report
- High output: you produce volume and iterate without losing quality
- Comfortable juggling briefs from several stakeholders and pushing back when a brief isn't clear enough
- Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) plus After Effects or Premiere
- Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or regulated D2C is a bonus, as is working within advertising compliance constraints. So is familiarity with AI creative tools.
Our application process starts off with an informal remote meeting followed by a written task. At Releaf, we believe that diverse teams build better businesses. We're committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and able to do their best work. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences — and we're happy to make reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process if you need them. If you'd like to discuss this, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
