Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Node.js Software Engineer with QA Automation expertise and 7+ years of experience in software development, automated testing, and quality engineering. The role will support Corporate Banking and Transaction Banking applications through backend development, API and microservices integration, test automation, and production support.The position will contribute to business objectives by delivering scalable and secure applications, improving automated test coverage, validating transaction processing capabilities, and supporting reliable application modernization and migration initiatives.

Software Requirements

Required

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in software engineering, Node.js development, QA automation, or related technology roles.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Product Owners, development teams, testing teams, and stakeholders through requirement discussions, planning sessions, reviews, and defect meetings.

• Create and execute automated API, UI, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests while analyzing results, resolving defects, and validating application and migration data.

• Support production issues, release validation, technical documentation, and implementation decisions within established development, testing, security, and delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Node.js development, software engineering, QA automation, or related technology roles.

• Certifications in Node.js, JavaScript, software testing, test automation, Agile, cloud computing, or related technologies are preferred.

• Complete Synechron-required training related to information security, data protection, banking applications, software development, testing, and responsible technology use.

• Maintain continuous professional development in Node.js, API development, automation testing, CI/CD, cloud technologies, banking systems, security, and quality engineering.
