[LTA-RAOM] MANAGER, ASSET ENGINEERING (POWER & SERVICES)
[What you will be working on]
You are responsible for managing a team and ensuring that rail assets are safe, reliable, maintainable, and available throughout their lifecycle. Your role combines asset management, maintenance management, safety, and operational performance oversight.
You will work closely with the Rail Operators to develop good ground knowledge of the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) issues to ensure that the Rail Operators’ O&M experience can be fed back to LTA’s design Divisions to facilitate the continual improvement of the design of Singapore’s Rail Transit System’s (RTS) lines for flexibility of operations and maintainability.
Your scope of work will include review of the design of medium voltage power systems, railway traction power systems (3rd rail and overhead catenary systems), low voltage reticulation schemes and investigations of incidents. You will also provide engineering support in witnessing the testing, commissioning, and handing over of new assets to the Rail Operators.
You are required to monitor asset condition, reliability, and performance as well as manage asset obsolescence and spare-part strategies.
You are expected to have the knowledge of AI and digitalisation of rail power asset management.
[What we are looking for]
- Knowledge in Electrical Power Engineering
- At least 8 years of experience in design, installation, operation and maintenance of services and electrical installations up to and including 22kV; 1500V DC and 750V DC traction power supply systems and 400/230V reticulation systems
- Knowledge of railway work environment and relevant safety requirements
- Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
