Job Overview

Digital Moviola is seeking a diligent and proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join our dedicated team. This is a critical role responsible for protecting our company's systems, networks, and data against cyber threats, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of the sensitive information we manage.

This is a Full-Time position located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $120,000 USD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be integral to our security operations. Your primary duties will include:

  • Monitoring company networks and systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Analysing and responding to security alerts from our SIEM and other security tools.
  • Conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential weaknesses.
  • Assisting in the development, implementation, and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
  • Investigating and documenting security breaches and other cyber security incidents.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, threats, and control measures.
  • Collaborating with IT and other departments to ensure a robust and secure technological infrastructure.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on security incidents and the organisation's overall security posture.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a passion for cyber security. Key qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in a cyber security role, such as a Security Analyst or a similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
  • Hands-on experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Familiarity with incident response methodologies and threat intelligence analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM) are highly advantageous.
