The Project Manager, Performance Marketing Operations will be responsible for cross-functional relationship building with stakeholders, internal clients, and company management. Their defining responsibility will be coordinating integrated marketing projects from intake through delivery across paid media, CRM, web, and social channels. Partnering with Strategy, Creative, MarTech, Analytics, and other execution teams across several business units within Holiday Inn Club Vacations will be key.
The Project Manager coordinates work across internal and external teams, ensuring requirements are clear, timelines and dependencies are managed, and risks or blockers are escalated. The role supports accurate, on-time campaign delivery and provides visibility into project status, milestones, and decisions.
The Project Manager must fully understand projects that can range from small to large-scale integrated marketing campaigns.
This role requires balancing cross-functional collaboration with process discipline and on-time delivery. You will drive projects from start to finish, aligning stakeholders and hitting each milestone on time and, where applicable, on budget. The ideal candidate will be an innovator who is excited to roll up their sleeves and get into the details to build processes that drive business.
The Project Manager must fully understand project management software, including Workfront or similar tools, and use it to support clear collaboration, documentation, approvals, and workflow management in a remote working environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Play a pivotal role in delivering integrated performance marketing work that drives the business.
- Develop project deliverables, schedules, milestones, and measures of success in coordination with cross-functional team members and internal clients.
- Initiate project planning by clarifying the client brief, understanding requirements, and aligning the right teams to reach business goals. Work with Strategy partners and internal stakeholders to gather complete project information and requirements prior to kickoff.
- Work with Strategy, Creative, MarTech, Analytics, and other execution teams to prioritize, scope, and coordinate new project requests and pivot easily when needed.
- Coordinate individual responsibilities and reinforce accountability for tasks and deadlines. Understand each team member's role and capabilities to align the right resources and support strong campaign outputs.
- Monitor and maintain milestone dates and schedules throughout the life cycle of a project. Help bring projects to completion through the execution of paid media, CRM, eCommerce/web, social, and technology teams.
- Evaluate status; anticipate schedule and budget problems; coordinate and communicate adjustments to schedules and budgets as indicated; and elevate problems that cannot be resolved through coordination.
- Identify actual or potential conflicts, dependencies, blockers, and resource constraints, and resolve them, facilitate their resolution, or elevate them for resolution.
- Nurture positive, collaborative working relationships with internal and external colleagues. Champion consistent Performance Marketing Operations processes and help promote strong cross-functional partnership throughout the organization.
- Maintain accurate project plans, task status, approvals, and documentation in Workfront or the designated project management system, and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders, the department, and management.
- Define deliverables, making sure the team knows exactly what the final product is and when it must be delivered.
- Coordinate final project review and approval by combining deliverables, routing work for stakeholder review, gathering feedback, and communicating required changes or updates to the team.
- Understand overall assigned campaign objectives, campaign targeting and segmentation, and nuances of supporting materials, including differences in segment treatments, branding, contact information, and related requirements.
- Contribute to marketing strategies, testing, and execution of integrated campaigns and programs
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field or equivalent experience required.
- 3-5 years of project management experience within marketing, digital, or performance marketing environments.
- Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and using Workfront or a similar project management tool is required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies, PMI best practices, marketing operations workflows, and campaign lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with Workfront or a similar project management tool; reporting or data visualization experience is a plus.
- Strong project/program management, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt between strategic and tactical thinking and work well within both.
- Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives for multiple stakeholders while balancing conflicting priorities.
- Proven ability to identify risks, blockers, and dependencies and drive solutions that keep projects on track.
- Ability to work well in a fast-changing, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with multi-channel marketing execution, including paid media, CRM/email, eCommerce/web, digital, social, OOH, and print.
- Ability to maintain accurate project documentation and follow established SLAs, templates, playbooks, and workflow standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong listening and relationship-building skills, with intellectual curiosity, drive, determination, a continuous improvement mindset, and a strong sense of ownership.
