Job Description

Project Management

  • Manage small-scale capital improvement projects and support larger asset enhancement initiatives, including common area renovations, unit renovations, and smart home technology upgrades.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to define project objectives, establish timelines, manage budgets, and drive successful project execution.
  • Coordinate project teams, resources, and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage projects typically ranging from $10K to $75K, while supporting larger renovation and asset enhancement programs.
  • Utilize project management best practices, including scope management, requirements gathering, risk identification, project tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Provide regular project updates and reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee ongoing contract services and break-fix activities for assigned systems and asset categories.
  • Travel approximately 25% to properties within the portfolio to conduct site visits, monitor project progress, support vendors, and ensure successful project execution.

Essential Functions

  • Develop scopes of work, project estimates, budgets, and schedules with guidance from management.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and ongoing status reviews, ensuring alignment among stakeholders and project team members.
  • Proactively identify project risks and escalate issues to minimize scope creep, schedule delays, and budget overruns.
  • Manage annual and long-term project budgets for assigned initiatives.
  • Coordinate the full contract lifecycle, including bidding, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and execution.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly project status reports to leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and key milestones.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • 1+ years of project management experience, preferably supporting renovation, construction, facilities, asset enhancement, or property-related projects.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a track record of building strong relationships across departments and with external vendors.
  • Proficiency with project tracking, budgeting, and reporting tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% for property visits, project oversight, vendor coordination, and stakeholder meetings.

  • Expected base salary of $75,000-$80,000. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
