Job Title: Data and Reporting AnalystJob DescriptionThe Data & Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting regulatory, financial, and business reporting initiatives by developing, maintaining, and enhancing reporting solutions that drive informed decision-making across the organization. This role partners with internal stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements, manage report enhancements and updates, and ensure reporting accuracy and consistency. The analyst will perform data profiling and validation activities to identify anomalies, uncover potential data quality issues, and improve overall data integrity. Additionally, the role requires developing and maintaining SQL queries and scripts for reporting purposes, creating process documentation and data flow diagrams, and leveraging business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Cognos, or similar platforms to deliver meaningful dashboards, analytics, and insights.

Essential Skills• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and scripting.

  • Experience with BI platforms like Power BI or Cognos.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Ability to work with end users and understand data structures.
  • Capability to create VBA in Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience using SQL to extract data and create scripts for reporting.
  • 2+ years of experience using BI platforms to create dashboards.
  • 2+ years of experience working with stakeholders to develop reports.

Additional Skills & Qualifications• Financial reporting or accounting experience.

  • Experience in the insurance industry.

Work EnvironmentThis role is fully remote with flexible start and end times within core business hours. The position is open due to organizational growth.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Scranton, PA.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $95000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Medical (PPO/HDHP), vision, disability, and life insurance.
