Software Engineer (Packaged Solutions)

In this role, you'll:

Manage, deploy, and support packaged software solutions, ensuring system stability, effective issue resolution, and seamless integration with enterprise platforms and business systems. Collaborate with architects, product teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions. Drive solution lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, testing, release management, deployment, and ongoing optimisation. Monitor application performance, resolve production issues, and perform root-cause analysis to improve system reliability and user experience. Contribute to platform modernisation initiatives, including the migration of legacy applications to cloud-enabled environments. Participate in a shared on-call support roster, providing critical application support to maintain service availability and operational excellence. The team also comes together in person for activities such as branch all-in days (Location Burwood Office), training sessions, planning workshops and collaborative work.

About you

Demonstrated experience supporting and deploying enterprise applications, including packaged solutions in Windows and/or Linux environments. Strong understanding of application integrations, APIs, scripting, automation, and database technologies such as Oracle or SQL Server. Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and working with vendors to deliver successful outcomes. Proven analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience troubleshooting complex application and integration issues. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences. Experience working within Agile, DevOps, and ITIL environments, collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver technology outcomes.
