The team
Transaction Services (TS) is one of ING Wholesale Banking's most important growth businesses, serving corporate and institutional clients with Accounts, Payments, Cash Management, Trade and Working capital solutions globally.
You will be part of Transaction Services Delivery. The team is accountable for bringing Transaction Services products and capabilities to market, and works closely with colleagues across Technology, Commercial product management, Risk, HR, Finance, COO and external parties.
Over the coming years, TS is set to continue to grow rapidly, and Delivery and the way we bring products and services to market will change and scale.
In this role, you will be a central part of scaling and evolving this team, working with the Global Head of TS Delivery and the management team.
Your Role

As Business Manager for the Transaction Services (TS) Delivery, you are a trusted partner to the Global Head and leadership team, helping translate strategy into execution, driving business performance and shaping the growth and effectiveness of the organisation. Your work will help TS Delivery bring products and capabilities to market more effectively, supporting scalable growth and better outcomes for clients.
This role combines elements of Business Management, Strategy & Operations and Chief of Staff in a fast-growing global business. You will help shape priorities, translate them into an executable portfolio, improve leadership decision-making and personally drive selected cross-functional initiatives from ambiguity to outcome. You will also build the management cadence, information and follow-through that enable the Global Head of TS Delivery and leadership team to focus on the highest-value business priorities.
Your responsibilities
You connect strategy with execution and help ensure the smooth running of the department. Your main responsibilities include:
- Strategy execution: Supporting the Global Head of Delivery in executing the department strategy and priorities
- Management operating rhythm: Design and run an effective leadership cadence across yearly planning, quarterly execution, monthly business reviews, and offsites, and other governance forums. Shape the agenda, prepare the fact base, document the outcomes and ensure follow-through
- Organisation and people processes: Support and coordinate people processes, including talent reviews, workforce planning, succession planning, capacity management, location strategy and organisational changes
- Communications and stakeholder engagement: Create and manage the TS Delivery communications plan in line with the cadence and any change activities. Create clear, executive level communication material, and a set of artefacts for key interactions. Ensure ongoing engagement with key stakeholder groups, and the extended team
- Strategic initiatives and problem solving: Lead selected cross-functional strategic initiatives. Rapidly structure ambiguous problems, test hypotheses, align stakeholders and move into implementation

How to succeed
To be successful in this role, you combine first-principles thinking and the structured thinking of a strategist with the pragmatism, pace and ownership of an operator. You are comfortable working with ambiguity, influencing without authority and moving rapidly from insight to execution, following through on commitments. You work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, stay close to the client agenda and collaborate closely with Technology, Product, Risk, Sales, Operations, across levels to turn priorities into tangible outcomes.
- You have experience in consulting, COO, strategy, business management, Project Management, finance or a comparable role
- You bring strong planning and organisational skills and can manage several priorities at the same time
- You can translate complex topics into clear management information, decisions and actions
- You build effective relationships with senior stakeholders and communicate clearly
- You work independently, take ownership and bring structure in a changing environment
- Expert level use of MS Office tools and fluency with AI
- Experience in Wholesale Banking, Transaction Services or Technology is an advantage
