Full description

Shape your career at the intersection of financial operations and technology-enabled growth. Join a collaborative team where your accounting expertise and analytical mindset will directly support the integrity of transactional data and the expansion of new programs and markets. Here, you will build deep cross-functional partnerships, sharpen your controls and audit skills, and make a measurable impact from day one.

As an Operations and Financial Support Analyst in the Mid and Back Office team of Chase Travel, you will own end-to-end transactional processing, reconciliation, and close support while facilitating the onboarding of new jurisdictions and marketplace programs. You will partner with teams across Finance, Technology, Operations, and Account Management to deliver accurate, timely, and audit-ready outcomes. This is a high-visibility role that rewards strong accounting judgment, data fluency, and a proactive approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end integration of high-volume transactional data from multiple booking sources into back-office accounting systems, validating completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of feeds and downstream impacts
  • Investigate, reconcile, and resolve processing breaks — including mapping issues, missing attributes, and balancing discrepancies — documenting root cause, remediation actions, and prevention steps
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry support, balance sheet account substantiation, and identification and resolution of unusual items or trends
  • Prepare and deliver recurring reporting (daily, weekly, and monthly), ensuring data integrity, consistent definitions, and appropriate controls and documentation
  • Produce variance and driver analysis on volume, revenue, and cost trends, translating findings into clear insights and recommended actions
  • Facilitate onboarding of new jurisdictions and marketplace expansions through structured intake, milestone tracking, and operational readiness, ensuring dependencies and controls are understood and met
  • Partner with Account Management, Technology, Operations, and Finance to implement new programs and changes to existing offerings, clarifying requirements, impacts, and control expectations
  • Lead quality assurance and user acceptance testing for rollouts and enhancements, including test strategy, evidence collection, defect tracking, and sign-off readiness
  • Own end-to-end case management for onboarding and production issues — triage, escalation, stakeholder updates, and closure — ensuring timely resolution and clear audit trails
  • Manage audit inquiries and coordinate with tax and compliance partners; prepare audit and external reporting deliverables with full traceability and on-time responses
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls, reduce manual touchpoints, and improve timeliness and accuracy; contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting and/or financial operations experience
  • Demonstrated experience reconciling high-volume transactional data and resolving breaks through root-cause analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with confidence handling large datasets
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Technology, Operations, Finance, and Account Management to deliver implementations and process improvements
  • Working knowledge of accounting controls, documentation standards, and audit readiness expectations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate risks and issues proactively with proposed solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data findings, operational impacts, and readiness status clearly

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • TravCom knowledge
  • Experience supporting tax compliance, audit coordination, or working with third-party tax platforms (e.g., Avalara or similar)
  • Familiarity with marketplace or platform business models, including jurisdiction-level compliance or program onboarding
  • Experience contributing to or leading automation and process improvement initiatives, including defining requirements and validating outcomes
  • Exposure to coordinating or reviewing work from junior team members across reporting, reconciliation, or testing cycles
