How you'll contribute to our success

  • Administer and improve our Kubernetes platforms (incl. Nutanix Kubernetes Platform – NKP) hosting critical workloads.
  • Manage and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems and related services in production.
  • Install, configure and maintain OS, Nginx reverse proxies, hypervisors and management tools.
  • Handle day‑to‑day operations: changes, incidents, troubleshooting and L3 support.
  • Ensure security, availability, performance and capacity of Kubernetes and Linux environments.
  • Implement and enhance automation using Ansible / AWX / Ansible Automation Platform and scripting.
  • Monitor and manage backup, restore and redundancy strategies.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and procedures, and contribute to infrastructure projects and upgrades.

Your skills

Must have

  • BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent) and 3+ years as a System Engineer.
  • Strong hands‑on experience administering Kubernetes clusters (NKP is a strong asset).
  • Solid experience with RHEL administration in production environments.
  • Proficiency with Ansible and scripting (e.g. AWX, Ansible Automation Platform).
  • Good knowledge of Nginx as a reverse proxy in secure, high‑availability setups.
  • Proven ability to manage availability, incident resolution and performance troubleshooting.
  • Fluency in French and English, spoken and written.
  • Be available to work on call system.

Nice to have

  • Kubernetes and/or Red Hat certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS, RHCSA/RHCE, etc.).
  • Experience with observability and CI/CD integration around Kubernetes platforms.
  • Exposure to Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices and automation of Linux / container infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of Nutanix AHV and VMware ESXi hypervisors in production.
  • Familiarity with security hardening, compliance standards and backup/restore for Linux and container platforms.
